The “Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow” Exhibition Meets Art Lovers at Zorlu PSM

Zorlu PSM is hosting a special exhibition curated by DG Art, bringing together painter Devrim Erbil, sculptor Beste Alperat, and artist Mr. Besk, which will be open to visitors from May 19 to June 4, 2023. The exhibition, which brings together works by artists from different disciplines, offers viewers a multi-layered art experience.

Shaped around the themes of the achievements of the Republic and freedom, the exhibition centers on the concept of “culture,” one of the most important elements of human life, and is based on the idea that individuals should be able to express themselves freely through art, literature, and music. The exhibition invites us to reconsider, through art, how the universal values of the Republic have matured over generations and the connection they have established with the concept of freedom.

Devrim Erbil, who has inspired many with his works and exhibitions in the history of Turkish painting; sculptor Beste Alperat, who reflects the source of creativity in everyday objects and the human body through the theme of nature in her works; and Mr. Besk, a dynamic representative of the younger generation who creates works based on tulip motifs featured in ancient legends, decrees, and stories, present different forms of expression to viewers with their works in the exhibition.

Curated by DG Art, the exhibition aims to establish a conceptual link between the past, present, and future through the unifying power of art.
