“Everyone and No One” — Erdoğan Zümrütoğlu’s Latest Exhibition Opens at DG Art Gallery & Projects

Erdoğan Zümrütoğlu’s exhibition “Everyone and No One”, featuring works created using figurative abstraction techniques, has opened at DG Art Gallery & Projects, founded by Dursun Gündoğdu.

DG Art Gallery & Projects, founded by Dursun Gündoğdu, is currently hosting “Everyone and No One”, an exhibition featuring works by Erdoğan Zümrütoğlu created through figurative abstraction techniques.

Speaking about the exhibition, gallery founder Dursun Gündoğdu said:

“Erdoğan Zümrütoğlu is a well-known artist both in Turkey and internationally. We have held three exhibitions with him so far—this is our fourth collaboration.”

As its title suggests, the exhibition stands out as both a continuation of a long-standing artistic defiance and a promise to offer viewers something genuinely new.

Born in 1970 in Konya, Erdoğan Zümrütoğlu studied at Dokuz Eylül University and later lived in various parts of the world to conduct research and pursue his artistic practice. After returning to Turkey, he continued his work in his studio, participating in numerous group exhibitions as well as presenting many solo shows. His selected solo exhibitions include “Tuz Zamanı” at PİLEVNELİ Mecidiyeköy (Istanbul, 2019), “Eyewitness” at Künstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin, 2018), “Kutsal Pazarlık” at PİLEVNELİ (Istanbul, 2018), and “Mirror of Darkness” at JD Malat Gallery (London, 2018). With a style rooted in abstract expressionism, the artist explores existential concerns, and his works have been featured in major galleries and collections around the world. He currently lives and works in Istanbul.

“Everyone and No One” is on view at DG Art Gallery & Projects, located in Polat Piyalepaşa, until January 3.
