Yves Klein
Yves Klein, born on April 28, 1928, in Nice, France, and passing away on June 6, 1962, in Paris, was a French artist. He began his artistic career in 1947 with his first Monotone Symphony composition and later trained in judo in Japan. In 1955, he settled in Paris, establishing his presence in the art world. Klein was a pioneer of abstract and minimal art, renowned for his monochromatic blue paintings. He also developed 'Anthropometry' performances, where he used painted female models to leave imprints on canvases. One of his most iconic works is the 1960 photograph "Saut dans le vide" (Leap into the Void). The artist passed away suddenly at the age of 34.
