Tahnee Lonsdale

Tahnee Lonsdale, born in 1982 in Reading, UK, is a painter currently based in Los Angeles. She earned her BA in Fine Art from Byam Shaw School of Art in 2007. Lonsdale's work features vibrant semi-abstract narratives, incorporating whimsical figures, architecture, and other objects set within rich color fields. Her paintings draw on references to religion, literature, and art, creating a visual language that is both personal and evocative. In 2024, she held a solo exhibition titled "a billion tiny moons" at Night Gallery in Los Angeles. She also participated in a group exhibition at Alexander Berggruen in New York alongside artists Raul De Lara, Shanique Emelife, and Sihan Guo.
