Seo Young-Deok

Seo Young-Deok, born in 1983 in South Korea, is a sculptor who graduated from the Environmental Sculpture Department of Seoul University in 2008. In his artwork, he creates realistic human figures using metal chains sourced from industrial machines and bicycles. These figures offer the viewer both a strong and peaceful impact. Seo's works are part of significant collections such as Alembic Pharmaceuticals LTD in India, DSB s.r.l. group in Italy, Sungkok Museum of Art in South Korea, and Gallery Hyundai. He also participated in a group exhibition titled "Urban Renewal" at Opera Gallery. Seo Young-Deok is an artist who deeply explores the physical and psychological structures of the human form in his work.
