Michael John Kelly

Michael John Kelly is an American artist born in 1975 in Provo, Utah, currently residing and working in Los Angeles, California. His work focuses on finding object-ness in abstraction, imbuing those characters with intelligence and personality. ​ His creations draw inspiration from anime, video games, and post-punk music. The artist describes his works as "a post-punk wall of sound blended with anime, video games, and Willem de Kooning." He continues to live and work in Los Angeles.
