Jeppe Hein, born on August 1, 1974, in Copenhagen, Denmark, is an artist based in Berlin and Copenhagen, known for his interactive sculptures and installations. His art blends architecture and art, involving the viewer in the experience. Hein combines minimalist and conceptual art traditions with interactive experiences, encouraging physical and mental participation from the audience. Works like "Modified Social Benches" promote social interaction and integrate art with everyday life. Hein studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen and at Städelschule in Frankfurt. He also worked as an assistant to renowned artist Ólafur Elíasson. Hein's works are part of prestigious collections, including those of Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
