Jason Boyd Kinsella

Jason Boyd Kinsella is a Canadian artist born in 1969 in Toronto, Canada. After studying art at Bishop's University, he spent approximately 30 years working in the advertising industry. In 2019, he returned to painting and currently divides his time between Oslo, Norway, and Los Angeles, USA. Kinsella's artistic practice focuses on exploring the depths of human psychology. By using geometric shapes to represent personality traits, he reflects the complex inner worlds of individuals. Through this approach, he presents portraits that invite viewers to contemplate the multifaceted nature and depth of human existence. In 2022, the artist held a solo exhibition titled "The Impermanent State of Being" at Perrotin Gallery in Paris. His works have been showcased and collected by prominent galleries such as Perrotin New York and Unit London.
