Erdoğan Zümrütoğlu

Erdoğan Zümrütoğlu is a Turkish painter born on November 13, 1970, in Konya. He began his studies at the Department of Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Dokuz Eylül University in 1990, and later took a break to conduct professional studies in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands for two years. He completed his education in 1996 and subsequently moved to Berlin. ​ Embracing an abstract expressionist approach, Zümrütoğlu's work delves into existential themes. He utilizes imagery that reflects the anxieties and mental clutter of the human inner world, drawing influences from German Expressionism. His art invites viewers on a psychological journey. ​
