Born in 1961 in Yerevan, Armenia, Daron Mouradian pursued his studies at the Panos Terlemezian Faculty of Fine Arts from 1978 to 1982. He later graduated from the Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts, receiving the Excellence Award. His works are inspired by Armenian culture, blending Eastern and Western civilizations, and incorporating elements from the Middle Ages. Mouradian's art is a dynamic realm where themes from the Bible and mythology play significant roles, guiding viewers toward self-exploration and a deeper understanding of their roots. Mouradian's exhibitions span from Armenia to Paris, and further to Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the USA. He transforms his fascination with mechanics into self-invented modes of travel, depicting knightly figures on cannonballs perceived as strange aircraft, or on peculiar locomotives and rocking fish with wooden legs.
