Ben Tong

Ben Tong, born in 1981 in Toronto, Canada, is an artist currently living and working in Los Angeles, USA. His practice includes video, photography, and mixed-media installations. He completed his education with a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and both a BFA in Photography and an MFA in Art from the California Institute of the Arts. ​ Tong's works create abstract compositions by blending traditional and modern techniques. He often draws inspiration from the natural world, exploring the relationship between color, texture, and form. His works have been exhibited in prominent galleries such as Night Gallery in Los Angeles and Jack Barrett Gallery in New York. ​ Tong's art encourages viewers to think and perceive differently. His works offer an emotional and intellectual experience that pushes the boundaries of abstract and contemporary art.​
