Alfie Caine
Alfie Caine is a British artist born in 1996 in London, currently residing in East Sussex. His artistic practice focuses on creating abstract paintings inspired by architecture and nature. He studied architecture at the University of Cambridge, graduating from Gonville and Caius College in 2018. During his studies, he received the Purcell Prize for exceptional drawing and representational ability, as well as the Schuldham Plate, his college's highest academic accolade. Caine's paintings invite viewers into dreamlike environments that blend domestic scenes with natural landscapes, offering both aesthetic and emotional experiences. His debut solo exhibition, "What Lies Beyond," took place at Union Gallery in London in 2021, followed by "Moments of Calm" at JARILAGER Gallery in Seoul in 2022. In 2024, he held a solo exhibition titled "Green Stairway and Yellow Roses" at MASSIMODECARLO gallery in Paris.
