SEÇKİN CEBECİ
Born in Ankara on February 24, 1988, the artist began his education at Bilkent University's Graphic Design Department. During this time, he focused on analog photography and printing techniques, developing his visual perception and technical knowledge. With the transformation brought about by the digital age, he continued photography as a hobby. In 2010, he further deepened his understanding of photography and design by studying "Photography and Design" at the School of Visual Arts University. Having pursued photography as a hobby for approximately ten years, the artist added a new dimension to his work in 2017 with the acquisition of a new generation camera. Thanks to the technical skills and perspective he gained during this period, he began to share his work with a wider audience. That same year, he received his first invitation to a group exhibition in the photography world and held his first solo exhibition just a month later. The artist's photographs, influenced by his background in graphic design, offer a powerful visual language and a unique aesthetic. The works in his solo exhibition, in particular, draw the viewer into a different reality with their atmospheres reminiscent of films like Inception and The Matrix. This cinematic and fictional approach has become the artist's signature and has garnered great appreciation from viewers. Continuing to reflect the experiences gained from exploring the world and interacting with different cultures in his work, the artist aims to offer the viewer an extraordinary and impressive visual experience each time.
