NEJAT SATI
Born in Izmir in 1982, Nejat Satı is an artist who focuses on the physical limits of materials and their relationship with light, creating deep and transparent surfaces with acrylic and gel layers. His works, where form melts and color transforms into an atmospheric depth, offer a meditative visuality that extends from micro-universes to macro-landscapes. By transforming his material research into an art object, he questions how visual perception can be manipulated and the essential nature of color. Continuing his production between Izmir and Istanbul, Satı produces experimental works in his latest works that directly incorporate the physical changes of light on the surface into exhibition practices. He actively continues his artistic life with new series that blend the poetry of materials with technological possibilities and leave the viewer alone with light.
