TIFAK ARSLAN

Born in Mardin in 1992, Tıfak Arslan graduated from Anadolu Fine Arts High School in 2010. That same year, he was accepted into the Faculty of Fine Arts Education at Marmara University. After completing his undergraduate studies, he is currently pursuing a master's degree at Marmara University. He has won awards in numerous competitions and participated in various group exhibitions. The artist lives and works in Istanbul. Arslan, who produces work in different disciplines, focuses on the concept of the body in his work. He treats the body as a problem area and attempts to analyze it. The artist uses figures symbolizing two identities in a single body as the main theme in his works. Addressing topics such as humanity, nature, and loneliness, the artist explores the purpose of individual existence in a world dominated by a widespread feeling of loneliness. His works reflect the decay and loneliness in society.
